Title: Visiting San Francisco with Kids
Category: Kids/Family Author: Lina

Where to Eat...

Breakfast

A great way to get the day started is by having breakfast at Park Chow. This is a place that both you and your kids can enjoy. You have to try the blueberry pancakes which are big enough to be shared. This is such a lively place that will prepare you for a fun outdoors day with your family.

Lunch

Kids absolutely love Ike's Place. They have sandwiches and fun finger foods that all visitors can enjoy. They are so creative with the names of the sandwiches and sauces that will keep your kids talking about this place.

Dinner

If you want to eat something easy and simple Giorgio's Pizzeria in the Inner Richmond neighborhood in San Francisco is it. It is one of the best pizza places I have visited. The neighborhood has a variety of different cultures. You'll be surprised by the health tax added to your bill, but either way will leave satisfied.

What to Do...

Morning

Head over to with your kids to Alcatraz. This is a great learning and cultural experience for the entire family. The line for the ferry tends to get long but from the pier you can enjoy a variety of animals including sea lions.

Afternoon

After spending your morning walking through Alcatraz in San Francisco there are many other fun and exciting activities for your family to enjoy. Pier 39 is my favorite thing to do with kids. There are a variety of shops that everyone can enjoy visiting. If you need to grab a snack, enjoy an ice cream treat. Also at the Pier is the Aquarium of the bay. They have some free admissions so make sure to check the ticket booth for details.

Evening

You can't possibly visit San Francisco without taking your family to the Golden Gate Bridge. This landmark is one of the best memories you can share with your kids. I suggest you rent some bikes and take a ride across the bridge. If you make it when the sun is setting you will all remember this scenery for a long time.
